A question to all Chromebook users - is there a way to download Google Doc file as .docx into your PC? And then attach it to an email through a file explorer / browser?

Is there even a “File Explorer” available on Chromebook?

Hi @Navin_Israni, consider “Chromebook” to be a large “Android Smartphone” with a physical keyboard. It can perform everything your Android device does. If you get an email with .docx file, I’m pretty sure your Google Docs app can open it and process like usual.

You can definitely browse your files as well, shouldn’t be an issue, or you can install further apps in the future.

Have you used it before? On YouTube, all demos describe it as “an OS that is just a browser”! I may need to use it first, may be through a show room.

It’s true bro, but they have Google Play Store for the apps, so you don’t need to worry about anything.
